Besides, organizations need current technology to expand their businesses, and quality of services offered (Melville, 2010). An information system is an enabling technology, and if it is not controlled and lined up with the organizational business strategy, it will disable the organizational ability in the competitive advantage. Strategically placing IT/IS within the organization involved moving IT/IS professionals into business units, making business-related professional activities mandatory for IT/IS professionals, sending IT/IS professionals to external business events, and hiring candidates with broad educational backgrounds into junior-level IT/IS analyst positions (Melville, 2010). On the business side, they advocated bringing non-IT professionals into IT/IS roles and requiring business managers to participate in events introducing new IT/IS and to perform rotations in IT/IS project environments. To integrate into a smoothly working business system and improve productivity, managers ought to align their Information Systems with the firm applications. More importantly, they are struggling to come up with calculations of how much these investments would affect their bottom lines. As a result, they typically delay taking actions to improve application performance, which could cause deterioration of business metrics such as revenue growth, cost savings, and brand reputation (Melville, 2010).

Organizations often evaluate the performance of business critical applications solely on the uptime and the average speed. However, these metrics do not paint an accurate picture of how applications are truly performing because they report on the performance as measured from the perspective of IT departments as opposed to the perspective of business users. For example, the IT team may have compiled information showing that an application is performing with an average of 6.7-second response times and, therefore, draw a conclusion that there is no problem with this application’s performance (Österle, 2013). However, end-users might be experiencing only 2 seconds of delay during certain times of the day but more than 15 seconds of delay during peak times for using this application. Even though this type of performance during a peak time is not satisfactory for end-users and negatively impacts their productivity, their IT team is not aware of this problem (Rainer, et al., 2013 ).
In resolving this disconnect between the IT department and business users, organizations need to deploy capabilities that allow them to measure application performance from the perspective of the end-user (Rainer, et al., 2013 ). Inability to repair application performance issues promptly. Recent research indicates that even though the majority of organizations have improved their ability to collect more network and application performance data, many of them are still not able to improve their ability to identify and resolve performance problems promptly.
Organizations increasingly understand that they need to improve visibility into network and application performance, and they are deploying solutions that are designed to help them gather different types of performance data (Melville, 2010). However, even though many of these solutions allow them to collect large amounts of performance information, not all of these products collect information that is actionable. To be able to resolve performance issues promptly, organizations need to deploy solutions that will allow them to gather the performance data that they truly need and to deliver this information to the right people at the time when they need it.

It also leads to the easy supervision of all staff within a short period hence, this saves time on moving from one employee to another. This also makes employees do what is expected of them within the organization since failure to do what is right might lead to one’s dismissal from work (Melville, 2010).
An organization with the well-developed application will always tend to post most of its current activities on their website thus if any student accesses such information he or she can learn and develop new ideas that are highly needed in today’s business (Melville, 2010). By learning such skills he or she will be able to have self-confidence in everything that he or she wants to do and able to correct what might note been done in the correct way by such business organization.
The most business groups can get their information from the journal publishers, Articles, books, real working papers and printed newspapers. On the other had some business organizations are also able to get information by use of electronic devices such computers and mobile forms to log into various websites and read and even download some valid information (Melville, 2010). Also, some business organizations also use software to locate and gather different information from various websites. Some websites are actively protected hence not possible from viewing their information unless the organization installed some hacking software, which will enable them to accesses such web sites.
