Provide an explanation, using appropriate management theories, for how the administration could have handled the closure effectively with stakeholders? Include one theory from each of the following: the classical approach, the human relations approach, and the modern management approach.
You have been asked to suggest three plans: one long-term, one mid-term, and one short-term goal for the future direction of RSPS. Justify your decision for these goals.
Present your concluding statement.
Prepare this assignment according to the APA guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. Although an abstract is not required, an introduction and conclusion are required.
There are six questions within the two parts. Divide these questions among your team members and have someone compile the paper and ensure for correct formatting and consistency.
I would recommend that your paper uses headings (meaning Part One is labeled “Part One”) and that you use one Reference for each question (the text does count as a Reference, but your others should be from the GCU library). Remember that if you are introducing a concept, it should be cited. You should also make sure you avoid things like first and second person and contractions according to APA guidelines.

Rancho Solano Case: Recommendations
As a consultant, Rancho Solano administration should consider an effective step-by-step method in addressing the closure process to the stakeholders’ sector. Parents furiously commented that the timing was so poor, and some even were not considering the steps that the administration was offering in compensating for the changes in the plan put forth (Creno, 2014). According to the systems theory, it is important for managers to integrate a system that should be followed in coming up with a closure system, case in point, Rancho Solano group of schools (Birolini, 2012).
First, the school administration must gather relevant information about the decision to close the school. In this step, a committee must be formulated legislatively (Education Code Section 17387) and initiate a fact-finding mission. At this stage, they must consider the alternatives procedures of school closure. Decisions are critical at this level, and therefore factors like conditions of the school facility, operational costs, capacity, special programs, and environmental factors must be noted. For Rancho Solano’s case, transportation for students was considered for those who were near the schools that were closed. Secondly, once the decision to close the facility has been agreed upon, transitions are made in that there should be effective communication of information to the stakeholders. At this step, it is important for Rancho Solano to have an efficient staff to parent’s networks. At this stage, they must use the most effective tool for communicating their intentions to close down the school.
Lastly, the administration must come up with plans for the future as a result of closing the two campuses. To be able to regain the number of students who left the school due to closure, as mid-term plan, I suggest that they expand the other facilities that are under RSPS to accommodate for more intake. Also, they should add more transportation resources to cater for those students who remained loyal to the school but agreed to be relocated as a short-term plan. Conclusively the management must focus on long-term strategies such as improving the institution’s academic standards so that they can be the most admired school by students. Also, they should hire more staff to improve on quality delivery.
