Value Survey : Interview Questionnaire
Interview Report: Coca-Cola Brand
Coca-Cola has been one of the thriving beverage industries across the globe, and it has branded itself in at least three-thirds of the global arena. This report illustrates the perception of two interviewees; one from China and another one from Nigeria. Additionally, I will compare my perceptions about Coca-cola with these two interviewees.
First, it was evident from the report I captured concerning the Coca-Cola brand in China from the First interviewee. She suggested that she likes using products from Coca-Cola because the “Share Coke” campaign has made her love the product in that the company has customized the bottle to reveal names, famous quotes, and movie names she likes. She even went a step forward to reveal that she collects some of the bottles and keeps them in the kitchen to link up the quotes on the bottle. Overall, the interviewee from China appreciates the efforts of the brand, and she asserts that it is her best beverage drink.
Second, the interviewee from Nigeria, Africa was a bit skeptical about the brand Coca-Cola. He was critical of the company’s initiative to outsmart the Pepsi Company. He did not specify the reasons, but he said that Coca-Cola is cultural with their initiative to formulate advertisement that is locally understood by the given society. Furthermore, the interview suggests that he would rate Coca-Cola brand 7/10.
Conclusively, my perceptions about the brand are appreciative, and I respect the fact that the product they produce has a unique ingredient that its competitors find it hard to match their products. Additionally, one of my family member works with the company, and I suggest that Coca-Cola has the best management practice in the top 100 companies across the globe. In comparison to the two interviewees, I can conclude that globally, Coca-Cola has sold its brand and they are a company that recognizes cultural diversity.
